Her witty one-liners, show stopping personality, childhood hair loss struggles and champion mentality made her a fan favorite. The show's quirky, charming, and oddly inspirational theme landed it Top 10 in the US during its first week!

Merlande has been creating custom wig units for over 15 years. As someone who personally dealt with hair loss struggles, she became passionate about helping her clients with alopecia, cancer and other hair loss issues. Merlande began creating custom wig units to help these women look and feel their very best.

Merlande is an award-winning master hairstylist, certified hair loss practitioner, and wig maker specializing in film, television, and editorial. She most recently served as Key Hairstylist for Children of Blood and Bone (releasing January 15, 2027), and is known for delivering refined, camera-ready looks with precision and creativity.
As a proud first-generation Haitian-American, her journey reflects both artistry and purpose, with work that has been recognized and featured across leading global platforms.
